Controlled atmospheric spray guns are used in the production of heavy waste for spraying in vacuum chambers. The coatings produced protect your parts against oxidation, hot corrosion, chemical attack and wear. These guns can also be used for component surface configuration.
F4-VB Controlled Atmosphere Spray Gun
The F4-VB heavy-duty plasma gun applies coatings in a controlled atmosphere in a process called Vacuum Plasma Spraying (VPS). The vacuum chamber contains an inert atmosphere without active residual gases, so the coatings produced in this system do not contain oxide.
Typical applications include coating parts for:
- Turbine production
- Chemical process
- Medical industry
Key features
- Specially designed nozzle attachment apparatus provides concentrated plasma jet characteristic,
- Powder injection of plasma jet before leaving nozzle
- High powder particle rate results in dense coatings
- Ideal for Thermal Barrier Coatings (TBC) in the turbine industry
- Higher energy levels enable hard materials to be coated
Features
Maximum power | 55 kW |
Process gases | Argon, Helium, Hydrogen, Nitrogen |
Device compatibility | ultiCoat™, ChamPro™ |
Ideal for mass production applications such as:
- Covering large areas
- Thermal barrier coatings
- Solid oxide fuel cells
- Electric resistance
Key features
- Continuous, very high working power ensures the application of a wide variety of materials at high deposit rates.
- Produces a high power plasma jet for steam coating of blind areas
